You need to add an AFTER BURNER to that exhaust tube. Weld up a chamber to inject kerosene or jet fuel or fuel oil into the exhaust stream to really get some thrust out of it! It will sound like a F-16 taking off! I would also add a double wall inside that burn tank on the bottom where the hot coals sit so it doesnt get so hot in one spot.

Ive tried this myself and you need to introduce more air/oxygen to burn the fuel on the exhaust side of the turbo, you could try a nitrous/fuel combo after the turbo..!!

In addition to the changes you made, I'd suggest adding oil injection as fuel instead of wood, black diesel or used motor oil would be epic. That way you can adjust fuel ratios in addition to cleaning up the exhaust and making the turbo more reliable throughout the burn. Perhaps add some kind of cooling to the vessel to mitigate any thermal breakdown and melt-through. Of course I'm seeing this a year after you did it and you probably got all these suggestions in comments I've been too lazy to read before typing this out.

Improvements: 1) Closed loop throttle control system. 2) Lube oil cooler 3) Use the energy generated. Heat -> Steam generator -> turbine -> generator

Honestly you should’ve done a 6266 with a .8* AR backhousing as your atmospheric turbo. You want to size it so that your big turbo is rated for your max hp. And then you could even step down the smaller turbo to get mad spool! Td04L with a big wastegate into the 6266
